INTERNSHIP TIMEFRAME
May 2026 - September 2026 with opportunity to extend
Some responsibilities may support planning for winter programs beyond the core internship timeframe
COMPENSATION & ACADEMIC CREDIT
This internship may be structured as either a paid internship or an unpaid, for-credit internship, depending on the candidate’s academic requirements and eligibility.
Paid interns: compensated at $20/hour.
For-credit interns: participate in a structured educational experience designed to meet academic credit requirements, subject to approval by the intern’s college or university.
Responsibilities and learning objectives will be structured to align with whether the internship is paid or for academic credit.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You’ll support the in-house designer in creating and organizing marketing and trip assets across social, email, print, itineraries, and on-mountain events.
You’ll build templates, manage assets, and learn production workflows from brief → feedback → final deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Resize, retouch, and prep photos/files for digital and print use (Photoshop)
Update working design files and build reusable templates for recurring program needs (Illustrator/InDesign/Figma)
Design marketing assets across social, email, print, itineraries, and swag production
Maintain a clean digital asset library (logos, photos, brand elements) to keep projects organized and on-brand
Coordinate project details and deadlines in Slack, Monday.com, and Google Workspace
(Preferred) Assist with basic video edits or motion graphics when needed (Premiere/After Effects)
Participate in weekly check-ins to review progress, priorities, and feedback
REQUIREMENTS:
Portfolio required (link must be included with application)
Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related design program (required)
Minimum of 10 hours per week
Availability to collaborate during typical business hours (Mon–Fri), with scheduling coordinated in advance
Weekly progress updates aligned with internship goals and working hours
Strong communication and time management skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to juggle multiple projects and quick timelines

TRAVEL & ONSITE EXPECTATIONS
Travel may be available for select programs/events (optional). Travel expectations (timing, duration, and coverage of lodging/transportation) will be communicated in advance and depend on program needs and intern availability.
