IKON PASS COLLEGE DISCOUNT
Terms, conditions, and information related to Ikon Pass purchases with Outside Life.

If you would like to use your pass for spring skiing, summer biking, or need your pass sooner, please email us at IkonPass@outsidelife.com requesting your promo code. You will receive a code within 3-5 business days.
Your pass will not be processed through Ikon Pass until it has been paid in full and your account has been activated with your promo code. Your billing and shipping information must be up to date for the Pass to be shipped. Ikon Pass will start processing and mailing passes in the Fall of 2026. Passes will not be issued until the steps above are complete.

$25 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED: A $25 deposit is required to reserve your Ikon Pass until November 30, 2026, the final payment deadline. Pass prices will increase incrementally through the season. Your pass rate is not locked in until you are paid in full, or unless you have opted into a Flex Pay payment plan.
You may pay for your pass in full anytime before the final payment deadline. Your pass will not be processed until it is paid in full. The last day to make a Deposit Only is Friday, October 2, 2026.

If you have paid in full for your 2026-27 Ikon Pass, your code will be emailed to you in the Fall of 2026. If you need your code sooner, please email ikonpass@outsidelife.com. You will receive your code within 3-5 business days
Once you receive your code, you will follow the step-by-step instructions on how to apply that code to your Ikon Pass account. When you apply that code to your Ikon Pass account, it will allow you to update your photo and shipping address. That will then activate your Ikon Pass for the 26-27 season.
New Customers- will have their Ikon pass printed off and mailed to their shipping address in the Fall, once you apply your code to your Ikonpass.com account
Existing Customers- Will have your physical pass from the previous season activated automatically. If existing customers want a new pass printed, they will need to OPT IN for this option when they redeem their code in their Ikonpass.com account. You can only make this choice at the time of promo code redemption.

Your promo code is tied to your name and birthdate. It cannot be shared or transferred to anyone else. Only YOU can use your promo code.
If you share your code with anyone, you will not receive a refund.

You must use your own college student identity to apply for the college pass.
You may NOT use a friend, sibling, or colleague’s information to apply. If your name, birthday, and email do NOT match the redemption on the promo code, the pass will be terminated, and you will NOT receive a refund of any kind.
If you use someone else’s SheerID information, your account will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund.

Ikon Pass prices increase incrementally throughout the year. Your price is only locked in if:
You have paid for your pass in full.
You are enrolled in the FlexPay payment plan.
If neither condition is met, your pass price is subject to increase.
You may pay in full at any time before the final payment deadline.

Before paying in full, the pass may be cancelled and refunded except for the $25 non-refundable deposit between March 12 and November 30, 2026. Upon request through the Outside Life customer support team.
Once you are paid in full, Refunds of any kind are NOT AVAILABLE.

If you dispute your pass, it will be voided immediately.
To reinstate your pass, you must reverse the dispute and pay a $100 reinstatement fee.
You will have to wait until the dispute is reversed from your bank account to confirm the payment before we reinstate your pass, after we receive the $100 payment on your profile.

Insurance can be purchased through Ikon Pass directly. If you decide to purchase insurance through Ikon Pass, please do so through your Ikonpass.com account

If you have not completed payment for your Epic Pass, you may upgrade or downgrade your Epic Pass by contacting epicpass@outsidelife.com
If you signed up for FlexPay and want to downgrade your Epic Pass, you are not eligible to downgrade
If you have already activated your Epic Pass, we are not able to upgrade or downgrade your pass.

After your Epic College Pass is paid in full and you’ve been student verified:
Outside Life will upload your information into the Epic Pass database.
A confirmation email with instructions on next steps will be emailed to you.
Deadlines:
Anyone who registers for the pass after October 3th will be required to pay in full.
The final date to purchase the Epic College Pass is November 8, 2026.

Once you have paid in full and your Epic College Pass has been processed through Vail Resorts, Outside Life is not able to refund any amount. The pass is non-refundable.

Your new season pass will include Epic Coverage and you will be notified in the fall with instructions to customize your protection for your 25/26 season pass, including how to make, update or change your Epic Coverage elections. No sign-up required. Epic Coverage elections do not change the access of your pass; they are used to determine refund eligibility and amount should a qualifying event occur.

Receiving Epic College Pass by Mail: Your pass will not be processed through Vail Resorts until it is paid in full. Once your pass is processed by Vail Resorts and activated by you, Vail Resorts will start mailing physical passes in Fall 2025. You will also have access to use your Epic Pass through the MyEpicApp.
Picking Up Epic College Pass at Epic Resort: As soon as your pass is processed this fall, you have the option to pick up your physical Epic Pass at a Vail Resort Pass Office with your pass confirmation and the email address associated with your pass purchase.

Flex Pay gives you the freedom to book travel now and pay over time with simple fixed installments. Some plans include interest while some are interest-free. When you’re ready to check out, just select
“Flex Pay” as your payment method, complete a short application, and receive a quick decision. Choose the terms of your payment plan, finish checking out, and enjoy your purchase. Then, pay over time with simple, no-surprise monthly payments.

Shop for your items and add them to your cart just like you normally would. When you are ready to checkout, simply select Flex Pay as your payment method. To apply, you’ll need to provide some basic information like your mobile number, date of birth, and if you are a US resident, your Social Security Number. If you’re approved, finish checking out and you’re done.

Buy Now, Pay Later is available only to US and Canadian customers, pending approval through Flex Pay. Not everyone is eligible, applicants must fulfill the criteria below based on country of residence.

Yes, another person can apply for a loan through Flex Pay to pay for your trip! Simply have them apply and input your travel details. The person who applies for a loan through Flex Pay doesn’t have to be the traveler.

Yes! You do need to allow a few days between booking and your departure date for things to process. Other than that, you are free to travel whenever - even before you’re all paid off.

Outside Life travelers are often times in college and we offer awesome college ski trips called PowDaze for any collegiate group such as college ski clubs, greek life and groups of friends, but if you’re not in college it’s no problem! Anyone 18+ years or older can travel with us.
Outside Life also offers trips for any independent or post-grad group, such as Alumni ski trips, Graduate Programs or Students, Medical or Law Students, Corporate groups or events.
If you are planning a birthday party, bachelor or bachelorette trip, family trip, or just a group of friends trying to get on the slopes, we got you!

If you have lost or forgotten your password, select “forgot password” and you will receive an email that prompts you to reset it, make sure to check your junk mail if you can’t locate the email.

LODGING

The representative that you signed up under will be in charge of rooming everyone in your group.
In order to room together, you have to be signed up under the same representative. We CANNOT switch rooming between different representatives.

There are many different sized condos and hotels. The representative you signed up under gets to assign rooming based on each travelers request.
1-bedroom condo sleeps 4 people (1 bedroom that either has a king, queen or (2) twin beds plus a sofa sleeper).
2-bedroom condo sleeps 6 people (2 bedrooms with either a king, queen or (2) twin beds plus a sofa sleeper).
3-bedroom condo sleeps 8. (limited availability, those are not always guaranteed).
Hotel room sleeps 4, (2) double beds.

Yes! Our trips offer Outside Life staff on-site.
Our staff is available on check-in day and we provide a hospitality desk the day after check-in. This is when our staff is available to help with any questions or concerns.
