Our team boasts over 25 years of industry experience, having traveled over 400K individuals to top-notch ski resorts across North America. 

Outside Life and SkiSync specialize in crafting one-of-a-kind, multi-faceted trips including après ski gatherings, ski culture, live entertainment, themed parties and a variety of on and off mountain events. Our mission is to introduce young adults to new experiences beyond their college towns and show them how life is best lived outside.


INTERNSHIP TIMEFRAME 

  • April 2026 - September 2026 with opportunity to extend 

  • Some responsibilities may support planning for winter programs beyond the core internship timeframe

COMPENSATION & ACADEMIC CREDIT

  • This internship may be structured as either a paid internship or an unpaid, for-credit internship, depending on the candidate’s academic requirements and eligibility.

    • Paid interns: compensated at $20/hour.

    • For-credit interns: participate in a structured educational experience designed to meet academic credit requirements, subject to approval by the intern’s college or university. 

  • Responsibilities and learning objectives will be structured to align with whether the internship is paid or for academic credit’s

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Interns will support our event production and operations teams in planning, management and execution of partnership experiences, trip events and logistics. 

  • Interns will report to the Events/Operations team and receive weekly check-ins, feedback, and guided project support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, organize, and maintain event documentation (menus, proposals, executed contracts, etc.) to support event planning and operations

  • Support venue, talent, and vendor communications, including follow-ups via email and phone to confirm details and timelines

  • Maintain internal trackers and databases to support event logistics, reporting, and coordination

  • Assist with scheduling and calendar coordination for events and meetings

  • Research and source new venues in resort towns, contributing to curated venue recommendation lists

  • Support on-site event management and execution, gaining hands-on experience in live event operations

  • Create and update Run of Show templates to support winter program execution

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 hours per week

  • Availability to collaborate during typical business hours (Mon–Fri), with scheduling coordinated in advance

  • Weekly progress updates aligned with internship goals and working hours

  • Ability to work independently and take the lead on projects

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented

TRAVEL & ONSITE EXPECTATIONS 

Travel may be optionally available for select programs/events. Travel expectations (timing, duration, and coverage of lodging/transportation) will be communicated in advance and depend on program needs and intern availability.
